The
Home Port Alliance is the Camden based organization that pulled off
perhaps the greatest coup in the history of the Navy's Ship Donation
Program, when they put
together the winning application and were awarded the Battleship on January
20, 2000. After completing a year long restoration the
ship was opened as a museum on the Delaware River on October 15,
